Thank you for your interest in the fight to free youth from sex trafficking. We would like to be as transparent as possible in disclosing that Traffick911 has recently been named in a lawsuit from an incident that allegedly took place in 2012. In 2015, the Dallas Morning News published an article about the suit. Rest assured that this claim is utterly baseless and we are confident that Traffick911 has done nothing wrong.

At no time did a Traffick911 volunteer or employee assault this victim. The defendant should be the misguided attorney who is under indictment and was acting on his own. He was not a Traffick911 volunteer or employee at any time, but retained by the family as the victim's attorney. He has falsely represented himself as being a volunteer of Traffick911. The ministry carefully vets our volunteers and in no case does it ever hire an attorney for a victim, that is personal hire decision made by the client. Our sympathies go out to the families and victims involved.

Traffick911 is being represented in this lawsuit pro-bono by the prestigious Holland and Knight law firm. Holland and Knight, founded in 1968, is an international law firm with more than 1,100 lawyers practicing in more than 150 areas of law in 24 offices across the globe. The firm is very confident on Traffick911's stance in this case.
