The following letter signed by leading anti-trafficking agencies was delivered on Dec. 2 to Village Voice Media. This letter followed a letter by 51 attorneys general and another letter by religious leaders asking Village Voice to stop allowing the buying and selling of children over backpage.com.

Traffick911 helped rescue a girl on Nov. 28 who had been sold over backpage.
