Eyes wide open

For a year, she was afraid to close her eyes at night.

“I never knew what was going to be waiting for me when I woke up,” said the 16-year-old who was trafficked in Dallas.

Now, she sleeps peacefully because Traffick911 helped rescue her and has her at an out-of-state safe house.

Mission accomplished

She was sitting in the classroom of a Texas school, silently crying out for help.

No one noticed, though, because she was hidden in plain sight.

Oh, all the signs were there, all right, but you can’t see them until you know what to look for anymore than you can read a book before you open the cover.

Those signs leapt off the page after a homeless liaison from her school district attended a training with Traffick911 and the young girl was rescued.
