In December 2013, Traffick911 began operating Triumph House, a long-term, restorative campus for victims of sex trafficking under the age of 18. The safe home is not one big, institutionalized house. It is a campus of smaller homes where children can flourish in a home setting.
Because of your generosity, survivors have been able to heal and get the services they desperately need at the safe home and through our outpatient trauma-informed counseling program. In 2014, we served five girls at the safe home and 25 girls through the outpatient counseling program - and we saw transformation before our eyes.
In May of 2015, we graduated survivors from the program and strategically chose not to take additional girls at the time so that we can relocate the safe home property. Although we have fallen in love with our current property, it is very secluded and hours away from our headquarters and support network in Dallas/Fort Worth. In addition, the location has made it challenging to get the quality of licensed professional staff that is so desperately needed. Therefore, we are in the process of acquiring a new property and will continue accepting girls into the program as soon as the new home is up and running. We covet your prayers during this important transition.
