Juvenile Detention Outreach Interest Form
Traffick911 takes its interactive Traps youth program into the juvenile detention facilities, where we build relationships while preventing victims of this crime. We are typically in the facility for about two hours at a time.
Requirements: Female • 21+ • Cleared Traffick911 Volunteer • Complete County Facility Clearance Process • Complete Traffick911 JDO Webinar Training • Willing to bring snacks/drinks for the outreach
Monthly Outreach Schedule:
Dates are subject to change from time to time. Below is our typical monthly frequency in each facility. Once you are cleared for outreach in a facility, you will receive a monthly signup email. We generally ask for a volunteer commitment of one outreach per month as that allows for relationship building with youth and staff in the facilities. We realize there may be the occasional conflict or emergency that would cause you to miss an outreach.
Please note: Due to facility requirements, some outreaches limit the number of volunteers, therefore signups tend to fill up quickly.
